How to make something people care about

Jon Westenberg

Where things get tough is when you’re trying to make something that people genuinely give a shit about. You don’t want your dream to die in thechamber, because nobody read it, watched it, used it or listened to it. Thedeafening silence surrounding your work can crush your soul.

I especially love his comments about Reality TV.  I know of only one person that successfully took a reality TV stint and was able to parlay that into a successful career:  Mike Mizanin.

Everyone else is famous for being famous, which is a shallow kind of existence.  The depth comes when you DO something, not because you ARE something.  That extends way beyond the land of Kardashian, as luck would have it.   You've heard it before:  Walk the talk.
