The Closest Thing To A Resolution I'll Ever Make
2015 is right around the corner, and as I look around me I'm extremely dissatisfied with the way things are. How did we let things get to this point? As difficult as that question might be, I find the answer to be a pretty simple one. A) Most of us stopped asking questions.
B) We laughed at the few of us that still were.
2015 needs to be the year we start asking questions again. Specifically, the uncomfortable ones.
When they give us a non-answer or one that reeks of bullshit, we need to follow up with one question in particular. We need to ask WHY.
Then we need to keep asking why until we get to the real reason. Then, it's up to us to decide if that final REAL answer we get is good enough. If it isn't, then we need to speak up. We need to act.
This is not just for the world at large, by the way. This is also for the small voice in your head that tells you that 'it can't be done', or 'you're not good enough', or 'the game is on'.
Start with asking why of yourself, then expand out. Eventually, we may all meet somewhere out there, and change things for the better.
